		VME ADDRESS SELECT / ADDRESS MODIFIER SELECT

		ADDENDUM TO EXISTING MANUAL ON ICP8/16 VME BOARD

Jumpers J1-J3 are removed to select board address FFF520 H.
Insert PCB jumper J1 to select board address FFF560 H.
Insert PCB jumper J2 to select board address FFF580 H.
Insert PCB jumpers J1 and J2 to select board address FFF5C0 H.
Insert PCB jumper J3 to select board address FFF620 H.
Insert PCB jumpers J1 and J3 to select board address F520 H (Short I/O).
Insert PCB jumpers J2 and J3 to select board address F560 H (Short I/O).
In reference to the PCB:	J1 = E13
				J2 = E12
				J3 = E11
If the ICP8/16 board is to be mapped into short I/O (VME_AM = 2D H, short
supervisory access) be sure to insert jumper E15. This forces PAL U85 to
decode only the address modifier lines. By inserting E11 and E13 or E11
and E12, address bits 1 - 15 are decoded and 16 thru 31 are ignored provided
jumper E15 is inserted. DO NOT jumper E11 and E13 OR E11 and E12 without
jumper E15 being in place !!!!!!!.

VME address of FFFxxx H and an address modifier
of 3D H. ( NO jumpers are installed on E14 or E15 )

VME address of DFFxxx H and an address modifier
of 3D H. ( Insert jumper E14. )

VME address modifier of 2D H. ( Insert jumper E15. )
	Address modifier of 3D H = standard supervisory data access
	Address modifier of 2D H = short supervisory access

See pg. 3-3 in manual.

			SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION JUMPERS

Printer selection jumper = E10 ... no jumper = Centronics printer
                                       jumper = Dataproducts printer

Printer data strobe type = E1 - E3  ... E1 to E2 = Dataproducts
                                        E2 to E3 = Centronics

ICP8 or ICP16 selection = E8    ... no jumper = ICP16
                                       jumper = ICP8

VME address modifier output = E7 ... no jumper = 39 H
                                        jumper = 09 H

Baud rate table select = E9 (see existing manual)

			VME INTERRUPT LEVEL SET

Jumpers E16 through E19:
	VME interrupt request level 3 through 6 respectively.

Jumpers E4 through E6:
	E4 = VME address bit 3		No jumper = 1
	E5 = VME address bit 2		   jumper = 0
	E6 = VME address bit 1

The interrupt binary value set using jumpers E4-E6 MUST be equal to the
interrupt request level selected by a SINGLE jumper on E16, E17, E18, or
E19. Example: 	Interrupt Request - level 4
		Jumper E17, E5, and E6

		Interrupt Request - level 5
		Jumper E18 and E5

See pg. 3-4 in the manual.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
		VME BUS REQUEST LEVEL SET

Jumpers E20 through E23:
	VME bus request level 0 through 3 respectively.

Jumpers E24 through E39:
	Bus grant I/O jumper matrix ... see manual pg. 3-4
