                             Format Floppy Disk

Formats a floppy disk before you copy files to the disk. The
formatting process permanently erases all information from the disk
and prepares the disk to receive information.

When you select this command, you will be prompted to choose a
floppy drive number (0 or 1). This will select which floppy drive
you will be using to format the disk. If your system only has one
floppy drive, enter 0. Press RETN to proceed to the next field.
You will then be prompted to enter the formatting option. Type the
number of a format option which corresponds to the size and density
of the disk you wish to format. To execute this form, press ESC then
RETN. You will be prompted to place the disk in the drive and press
RETN. The disk will then be formatted. Once the disk has been
formatted you will be prompted to press any key to continue. Doing
so will return you to the BACKUP / RESTORE menu.
